Exam Stress

Exam stress is very common and happens to most young people. Stress can be positive and can motivate young people to strive to do well. However, exam stress can begin to impact upon a young person’s mental health. It might affect young people in the following ways:

  • Mood changes which could include being withdrawn, tearfulness or anger.
  • Reluctance to go to school
  • Being overly self-critical
  • Putting schoolwork off

If a young person is experiencing any of the following it would be beneficial to learn some NLP techniques and resources to aid any negative emotions attached to exam stress. This can then help with motivation and allowing that young person to succeed.
